 Milan’s QT8 district was originally conceived as an architectural project by Piero Bottoni for the 8th Triennale di Milano in 1947.
The task was to redevelop the area by transforming it into an open-air museum. The name comes from the fusion of “eight” and “space”, intended as
a livable environment.
